About
/ Autobiography
My name is Eavan Reinhart, I am a 22 year old hispanic-asian currently studying Computer Science (which is rather boring, if I’m honest). I was born in Puerto Montt, Chile, where I lived for five or so years before moving to Barcelona, Spain, where I spent another two-three years. From there I went to live with my father in Osaka, Japan, for less than two years before finally moving in with my mother in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
I was born in the month of March (as were many in family, oddly enough) and am an unfortunate Pisces (I hate fish). I am also very mischievous, at times shy, and strangely cynical. I have a blunt and often brutally honest way of speaking, as well as a random sense of humor (it decides to let itself known at the oddest times). I am often telling people that I am the ‘nicest’ person they will ever meet and it has become sometime of a motto for me. I am very friendly, unless someone gets on my bad side, and lazy.
Though currently I am majoring in Computer Science, my true passion is writing. Fiction or non-fiction, or anything at all, really. I am always creating new words and using them in everyday conversation, it tends to throw people off.
I am a ginormous anime and video game fan. Currently I own a Playstation 2 and a Nintendo DS Lite, am saving up for a Playstation 3 (only so I can play Dynasty Warriors 6, go figure), GameCube, and a PSP.
In September of 2008, our old blind Yorkee Mac was finally put to sleep after it became obvious that we could not care for him anymore.
I am in ownership of a female Djungarian hamster, with lovely gray fur and a black stripe across her back. She is lovingly known as “Princess”, though her name is “Rapunzel”. She spends most of the night running on her wheel and around her palace, then sleeps all day. Much loved in the household, she has no fears and will walk over anyone (we are all her loyal subjects). She has her own playpen, of which she likes to escape. All in all, she’s a very spoiled princess and seems to know it quite well.
There was an incident in which Princess escaped from her palace and was seen by my sister running in the hallway. She quickly ran into the bathroom, back into the hallway, then back into my room. When I went into my room to catch her, she was nowhere to be seen. I called out “Princess!” and she came running out to sit at my feet, waiting for me to pick her up. It was a very memorable moment and I’ll remember it always. She’s unusually smart for a hamster.
